Fireside Antiques

A Baton Rouge antiques dealer selling nationally, with a catalog where every product is one of a kind.

WHAT WE CAN AND CANNOT SHOW

Published with Fireside Antiques’ permission and reviewed before going live. Permitted: the company name, organic and AI results, and the category copy as an example of the work. Not permitted and therefore absent: sales and revenue figures.

Recovered to #1 Dining tables, armoires, mirrors and coffee tables all returned to first position after a ranking dip.

Antique dining table Average position 8.3
Antique console table Average position 9.0

AI presence AI traffic and citations growing: the client’s own priority metric, and the reason the category-page programme exists.

Search Console and Ahrefs data pulled 2026-06-10. Average position across the reporting window, not a best-day figure.

WHAT THIS SHOWS

The one-of-a-kind problem, solved at category level

Every piece Fireside sells is unique. It sells once and never returns, which makes a product page a decaying asset and makes conventional ecommerce SEO advice largely inapplicable.

The work moved up a level. We build category pages that are definitive about a type of object rather than about one instance of it, covering antique book stands, antique music stands and antique pond boats, written so they stay true as stock turns over. Copy describes what a collection has included rather than what is in it today, which is both accurate and durable.

Why these pages get cited

Each category page is anchored to something specific and checkable that competitors do not mention. The book-stands page, for instance, is built around the John Carter “Literary Machine” patent.

That specificity is the entire reason an assistant has a reason to attribute an answer to this source rather than to any of the hundred other dealers selling similar objects. Generic category copy is uncitable by construction.

What we have not shown you

No revenue, no conversion figures, no sales impact. They are excluded because they were not part of what the client agreed to publish.

There is also a live watch-item on this account: some inventory does not surface correctly in the site’s own category search. It sits on the client’s side rather than ours, and it is in every report.
