Mindflow is based in Atlanta, Georgia, and works with the UAE businesses remotely. We have no office here, no local entity and no local phone number, and we are not going to imply otherwise. What we bring is a measurement practice that works the same way in any market, run personally rather than handed to an account team.
- The UAE was the first country enabled for ChatGPT nationwide, per OpenAI's own announcement
- ChatGPT holds 77.88% of assistant usage, more concentrated than the UK
- Yandex is the third search engine at 1.37%, outranking Yahoo and DuckDuckGo combined
- DuckDuckGo is effectively absent, at a quarter of its UK share
Nationwide ChatGPT access changes the timeline
In May 2025 OpenAI announced that under the Stargate UAE partnership the UAE would become the first country in the world to enable ChatGPT nationwide. Whatever one makes of the broader initiative, the practical consequence for a business here is specific: assistant-mediated discovery is not an emerging channel to prepare for. It is a present condition.
ChatGPT holds 77.88% of assistant usage in the UAE as of June 2026, materially more concentrated than the UK's 68.32%. Gemini follows at 8.93%, Copilot 5.20%, Claude 5.02%, Perplexity 2.88%.
High concentration cuts both ways. It means a single assistant carries most of the answer surface, so being absent from it is expensive. It also means the measurement is simpler here than in a fragmented market.
Yandex is the third engine, and that is not a quirk
Google holds 95.12%. The interesting part is underneath: Yandex sits third at 1.37%, having risen from 0.82% across the first half of 2026, and it outranks Yahoo and DuckDuckGo combined.
That pattern appears in none of the other markets we serve at this scale. It reflects a resident and visitor population that a UK-shaped or US-shaped assumption set simply does not account for. DuckDuckGo, by contrast, is effectively absent at 0.16% against the UK's 0.71%.
None of this displaces Google. It does mean that a market analysis imported wholesale from a Western template will describe a search landscape the UAE does not have.
The first thing we'd measure
In a market this concentrated, the opening question is narrow and answerable: when a buyer in your category asks ChatGPT for a recommendation, what comes back, and are you in it?
We run that as a sampled protocol rather than a spot check, a fixed prompt set, run repeatedly, with the competitors who currently own those answers named. The output is a visibility percentage per surface, with the raw responses attached so you can read them yourself. Language is part of the set-up rather than an afterthought, because Arabic and English do not return the same answers here.
Every number on this page has a source and a date
Market figures here come from named sources, pulled on a stated date, and we say when we could not verify something. That is the same standard we apply to a client report.
Our documented results are in home services, in the United States. We are not going to imply a track record in this market that we have not built. What we publish instead is the method, in full, before you pay anything. No ranking guarantees. Just transparent measurement and documented work.
Fair questions about working with us in UAE
Do you have a UAE presence?
No. We are based in Atlanta and work with UAE businesses remotely. No local entity, no local number, no implied presence.
Is ChatGPT actually available here?
Yes, and unusually so. OpenAI announced in May 2025 that the UAE would be the first country enabled for ChatGPT nationwide under the Stargate UAE partnership.
Does language affect how you measure?
Yes, materially. Arabic and English behave differently across surfaces, and a sampling protocol that runs only English prompts will describe part of the market. We set the prompt set at scoping.
